I’m Gerry Garcia, the founder, president, and certified event planner of The Cloud 9 SMALL EVENT PLANNER LLC. I’m a certified Activities Director by trade, but my overwhelming passion for food & cooking, travel & fashion, and importantly, skills in hosting parties & crafting party giveaways over the years have been very instrumental in taking a leap of faith, pursuing my long-held dream, my first love – Events!

Fueled by my gusto, skill set, and a very supportive husband, that vision is now a reality.

We champion bespoke small celebrations, curate both timeless and charming fresh-cut flower arrangements/centerpieces, and handcraft thoughtful invitations.

We are a woman-owned small business (WOSB) boutique company for event planning and styling based in the Inland Empire. Currently, we are servicing counties of Los Angeles, Riverside, San Bernardino, Ventura, Orange, and the Palm Springs area in Southern California.

Cloud 9 was born out of a constant request for mini event planning by family and friends, colleagues, co-workers, small businesses, word-of-mouth, and personal referrals. A relationship that is built on trust and mutual respect with people I had business with over time. For over ten years, I have organized, curated, and hosted countless parties, including my own. These events, despite being petite in size, are utterly intimate, charming, and personalized. They carry an absolute character, and no doubt created beautiful, meaningful memories to last a lifetime.

People who know me well recognize I’d love hosting smaller parties; smaller but detailed, fun, and unforgettable. And that is the reason why we focused on small events. With great pleasure, we’d love to plan and design your mini weddings/elopements, brunches, dinners, housewarming, store openings, book signings, recitals, corporate, and fundraising. We also offer services just for styling or décor set-up for small parties of 10-12 or weekend brunches. For gift ideas, we create big, gorgeous, fresh-cut flower bouquets that are delicately put together with so much love. These fine florals are truly sweet expressions you can gift for any occasion.

I am ready to roll my sleeves for your fun baby gender reveals bash, your exciting fur baby party, a classy afternoon tea with your besties, an intimate bridal shower, a tailored book club assembly, a themed small art exhibit to showcase your collection, an unforgettable romantic al fresco dinner, especially during summer nights, a thoughtful Mom/Dad’s Day surprise party just in case you would like something unique and sweet besides the big singing card you got from a pharmacy store, or any event you can think of and feel is too special to pass up, but you simply do not have the time or energy to set it up.

Celebrations do not have to always be massive or overbearing. It can be tiny yet noteworthy, well-thought, themed-based, classy, organic, yet still polished. Think of us as your best friend who would go to great lengths or your personal assistant who will provide you with all the support needed for your special occasion.
